Industrial Laundry Facility – Belgrade 2025 is a secured development, supported by a dedicated investor and planned to commence operations in summer 2025. Conceived as a state-of-the-art industrial laundry with a focus on hotel textiles, the facility will be equipped with the most advanced technology and built to handle large-scale daily volumes with maximum efficiency. The concept of establishing a state-of-the-art industrial laundry facility in Šimanovci, near Belgrade, began with the preparation of a detailed feasibility study. What started as an initial idea was transformed through thorough market analysis, precise calculations, and reliable forecasts into a structured project concept, providing the foundation for its realization.
The facility is designed to focus on the specialized processing of hotel and hospitality textiles, addressing a rapidly growing market in Serbia and across the wider region. Following the agreement with the investor, comprehensive project development commenced, encompassing several parallel workstreams:
Site selection in a location with optimal infrastructure and logistics access
Conceptual planning of the facility and production processes
Negotiations with leading machine manufacturers and selection of state-of-the-art laundry technology
Administrative and regulatory preparation, including permits, legal structuring, and compliance processes
In parallel, measures were taken to ensure future profitability and market acceptance. A project office was established, initial on-site works were launched, and communication with potential clients began. The response – particularly from the hotel and hospitality sector – was highly positive, confirming the strong demand for a provider of this scale.
The project is now approaching its operational launch. The machines have been delivered, unloaded, and installed; final commissioning will take place in the coming days. The soft-opening phase is scheduled for September, with full operations starting on October 1, 2025 – achieving a capacity of up to 45 tons of hotel and restaurant textiles processed daily.
A key feature of this project is the management contract with a term of 5+5 years, ensuring long-term stability and predictable returns. This structure provides security both for the investor and for operational execution.
With its launch, the Šimanovci facility will not only become the largest and most modern industrial laundry in Serbia, but also a benchmark project for the entire Southeast European region, setting new standards in innovation, capacity, and reliability.
